Our Mission

Great IT services companies lose their best people to problems they never see coming.

Workforce decisions in IT services are still made on lagging data, gut instinct, and reactive firefighting. Siwaan is the predictive intelligence layer that changes that — surfacing risk weeks before the damage becomes irreversible.

The Problem

IT services firms are managing their workforce on yesterday's data

The workforce intelligence problem in IT services isn't a data shortage — it's a data fragmentation problem. HR systems, project management tools, and finance platforms generate signals continuously. But they never talk to each other, and nobody's looking at the right moment.

Invisible departure signals

Attrition signals appear in HR, delivery, and finance systems — siloed, weeks apart, never connected.

Decisions made too late

By the time a manager notices a flight risk, the resignation conversation is already scheduled.

Bench costs nobody planned for

Idle senior engineers sitting between projects silently drain $8–12k per month in unrecoverable capacity.

Hidden Cost Breakdown

Avg cost per unplanned senior departure

A 300-person firm losing 14 senior engineers in one quarter absorbs over $1.2M in combined cost — much of it invisible until it's too late.

Why it matters

8 wks

Average time between the first detectable signal and a confirmed resignation. Siwaan finds that window.

The Vision

A world where no delivery organisation loses a great engineer to a problem they could have seen

Siwaan is building the predictive intelligence layer for IT services workforce management — where attrition is anticipated, resources are matched intelligently, and every people decision is grounded in explainable, auditable AI. Not reactive. Not guesswork. Proactive.

Weeks ahead

Surface departure risk before the resignation window closes

Fully explained

Every prediction decomposed into auditable signals your team can act on

Outcome-driven

Measure success in departures prevented and capacity recovered — not reports generated

Who We Serve

Built for the people who carry the weight of workforce decisions

Siwaan is purpose-built for IT services firms between 200 and 2,000 employees where delivery pressure, attrition, and bench cost converge into the same operational crisis.

CHROs & People Leaders

You're held accountable for attrition numbers you can't see coming.

Current pain points

Attrition data arrives weeks after the damage is done

No unified view across HR, delivery, and finance signals

Can't demonstrate people strategy impact to the board

What Siwaan gives you

Explainable attrition risk scores, org health trends, and AI-generated board narratives — weeks ahead of the event.

Delivery & Resource Managers

You're staffing projects with people you don't fully understand, on timelines that leave no room for error.

Current pain points

Bench talent goes unmatched to open project roles for weeks

Skill data is stale, scattered across spreadsheets and CVs

Resource planning is gut instinct dressed up as a Gantt chart

What Siwaan gives you

AI-powered resource matching, real-time bench visibility, and capacity forecasts built on verified skills data.

HR & People Operations

You have more data than ever and fewer tools to make sense of it.

Current pain points

Fragmented HR systems that don't talk to each other

No early warning system for engagement or performance decline

Reporting is backward-looking — it tells you what happened, not what's next

What Siwaan gives you

A unified people analytics layer that surfaces actionable signals, not just dashboards, with privacy preserved by design.

The Origin

Born from a $1.2M attrition problem nobody saw coming

“Fourteen senior engineers. One quarter. Over a million dollars in replacement and bench costs — and the signals had been there for months. We just weren't looking in the right place.”

— Siwaan founding team

The founders of Siwaan spent years leading delivery and people operations at mid-sized IT consulting firms. In 2022, after watching a 300-person company haemorrhage its most experienced engineers in a single quarter, they went back through the data. Every departure had been preceded by at least three detectable signals — declining sentiment, extended bench time, stalled skill development.

The data existed across HR, delivery, and finance systems. The problem was that nobody had built the tool to unify those signals, explain them in plain language, and surface them early enough to act. That gap became the thesis for Siwaan.

Our founding principles

Local-First, Always

Every predictive model runs on-premise inside your secure environment. Your employee data never touches our cloud — not for training, not for inference, not ever.

Explainable AI, Not Black Boxes

Every risk score is decomposed into SHAP attribution factors. You see exactly which signals drove the prediction — your team can agree, challenge, or override it with full context.

Outcomes over Dashboards

We don't celebrate page views or report counts. We measure departures prevented, bench days recovered, and hiring budget saved. If it doesn't move a P&L line, it doesn't ship.

How Siwaan Works

Every prediction tells you exactly why

Most AI tools give you a risk score and a colour. Siwaan gives you a decomposed, auditable explanation of every signal that contributed to that score — so your people leaders can act with confidence, not just compliance.

01

Unified signal ingestion

HR data, project bench status, sentiment surveys, and skill records unified into a single intelligence layer.

02

XGBoost + SHAP prediction

ML models trained on industry data score attrition risk. SHAP decomposes every score into weighted feature contributions.

03

Actionable narrative

AI generates plain-language recommended actions — not just who's at risk, but what your manager should do about it today.

Our Values

The principles we refuse to compromise on

These aren't wall posters. They're the engineering constraints we built the product around.

01

Privacy by Default

No raw client data in our cloud database. Ever. We architected the entire product around this constraint — it's not a feature, it's a foundation.

02

Explainability First

Prediction without transparency is noise — and potentially harmful. Every insight surfaces its reasoning so leaders can make decisions they can stand behind.

03

Outcome Obsessed

Our success is a direct function of attrition prevented, bench costs recovered, and capacity plan accuracy improved. We measure what moves your P&L.

04

Customer Proximity

Every feature is developed alongside the CHROs, delivery managers, and HR ops teams who will use it daily. No features built in a vacuum.

05

No Fluff

Actionable signal over marketing jargon. If a feature can't reduce a workforce risk or recover a cost, it doesn't make the roadmap.
